Sausage and Kale Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. of ground turkey sausage
  • 2-3 diced russet potatoes
  • 2 stalks/bundles kale
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 4 cups of whole milk
  • 1 Tbsp oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 pinch cruched red pepper flakes optional

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in the slow cooker.
  • Cook on high for 4 - 6 hours.
  • Remove sausage from the soup.
  • Chop or mash into smaller pieces. (Tip - use a standing mixer with the flat beater)
  • Put the sausage back in the soup and serve.
