Lazy Lasagna (Baked Ravioli Lasagna)

Ingredients

  • 1 24 oz. Jar pasta sauce usually red sauce
  • 3 cups Ricotta cheese or cottage cheese
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder or fresh garlic
  • 1 22 oz. Package frozen cheese ravioli
  • 2 1/2 cups Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 Tbsp Parsley, basil, or other seasoning optional garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees while you throw the ingredients together.
  • Spray a 9x13 casserole dish with cooking spray and add a layer of sauce to the bottom of the dish.
  • In a bowl, stir together the ricotta cheese and the garlic powder and set aside.
  • Arrange an even layer of frozen ravioli.
  • Top the first layer of ravioli with 1 cup ricotta mixture.
  • Sprinkle the ricotta with 1 cup of mozzarella.
  • Add another layer of sauce, then ravioli, and all the rest to get a second layer of everything.
  • Once the layers are done, top the lazy lasagna with the remaining ½ cup shredded mozzarella.
  • Bake uncovered for 20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
  • Allow the lasagna to cool in the casserole dish for 5-10 minutes before cutting and serving.
