Ingredients

  • 15 large Apples
  • 1/4 cup Cinnamon
  • 4 TBSP water
  • 1-3 tsp lemon juice optional, makes apples more tender and gives a bit of tartness

Instructions

  • Peel, core, and cut 15 apples.
  • Put the apple rings into a crockpot.
  • Top the apples with 1/4 cup of Cinnamon.
  • Add in 4 TBSP of water.
  • Cook on low for 8 hours.
  • Mix together for a chunky applesauce. Use a hand blender for a smoother sauce, or put it into a standing blender.
